Did you know that ginger has a thermogenic property as well as cinnamon?

Did you also know that apple cider vinegar slows down digestion, and honey and lemon juice increase the all round effect?

Olympus Health Blog craving killer home-brewed drinkNo, I didn't either but now I am addicted to the drink and have to say that I have noticed a difference to my cravings whilst dieting for my upcoming bodybuilding contest, as a result of applying this knowledge!

I peel and freeze my ginger, as it is easier to grate when required.

I grate about 2 inches of ginger, and add this to 500mls of water.

To this I add 1tsp of apple cider vinegar, 1tsp set honey, 1/4tsp cinnamon and 2tsp of lemon juice, and give it all a good shake.

I sip this throughout the day in addition to any other fluid intake.
